I love finding new good blogs about making money online honestly.


I had a great Black Friday — with over $16,332.00 in Apple sales, bringing my cut of my Commission Junction earnings over 215 bucks so far.


My Apple performance incentive is set to increase beyond the 1% it’s at now — I just started seriously pitching their stuff — and I had a question as to whether once it goes up if it stays at 2%, 3%, 4%…8%, etc.


Or does Apple’s incentive performance revert back down to the lowest level like Amazon Associates does every month?


Anyone? Anyone?


I’ve check Apple’s terms and conditions and didn’t find my answer.


But that’s how I found Affiliate Confessions, a blog written by Alan LeStourgeon, and his post about making more than $5,000 in October 2008.


Simple, straight-forward advice and non-hype about making money online.


He don’t promise that you’ll be a millionaire.


I like that.


Plus, his wife’s a Christian counselor.


I love that.

The Sports Dollar is a blog that proclaims that sports blogs can make money online.


I like that.


I found them by searching for “YardBarker Earnings” and “YardBarker Income” to find out how much money people are making with YardBarker.


Turns out part (or all?) of the $113 filed under misc. income from Sports Dollar’s June 2008 income post was from YardBarker.


We shall see…

So Connected Internet has a great article up about “ugly sites” making more money in Google Adsense income by placing their ads right below the blog post title in between the title and the text.


I’m going to find the site that is making $200 to $250 per day for Connected Internet.


It must be this Smashing Magazine website…


Wow, they get over 115,000 pageviews per day per StatBrain.com.

So when I first saw the title “Suck On This John Chow, My Blog Made $45,000 Last Month!” pop up in my Google Reader — I dismissed it as some crazy blogger jealous of John Chow, and didn’t even read the post.


Thank God Daniel over at Daily Blog Tips followed up on Timothy Sykes’ claims and interviewed him here — because it wasn’t a lie.

That’s what I admire about reading Timothy Skyes’ interview and writings. Unlike some men, especially men, he doesn’t mind admitting his failures.


After all, we learn big time from them…


And I like that Timothy Sykes says that he doesn’t like promoting liars and cheats. Same here!

Sounds like he’s not doing it thru Adsense and affiliate sales.


Sounds more so like DVD sales and instructional stuff and penny stocks and whatever. Whenever my kid’s not bugging me to use the computer to get on Webkinz, I’ll delve further into his post and links.


All these guys who don’t support the ad-supported revenue and affiliate sales stuff have got me thinking…

Blogger Derek Semmler unfortunately found his blogging income decreasing to $677.54 for the month of July 2008.


Whilst we were happy galore with our increase in Kontera earnings, Semmler is thinking of getting rid of it.


Plus he plans to attract new advertisers and follow thru with “keyword sniping,” whatever that is.


We’d better investigate.

Thanks to the good Googly Google Reader, I came upon Life is Colourful, a blog that made more than $2,100 in July 2008 — thanks mostly, they say, to pitching Yahoo Search Marketing $50 off coupons.
